We have been fortunate to receive the support of a great amount of local people, businesses, organisations and theatre groups since 2006, not least the Kilkenny County Council Arts Office, who have repeatedly funded our endeavours.
However, for us to continue to push forward towards a professional programme of theatre all year around in Kilkenny, it is necessary to raise additional funding.
As a local amateur group we don't possess the funds and resources to push our work forward. The little profit we make from each prodcution goes towards making sure the next play is the best it can be. We focus on high production values and are adamant about offering the cheapest theatre tickets in Kilkenny. This is part of our remit to encourage younger audiences into the theatre.
For us to continue to offer an innovative, diverse program of theatre for Kilkenny, we are asking local organisations, business and individuals to please consider sponsoring us and become a friend of Devious Theatre.
